What is CFA?
The chartered financial analyst (CFA) charter is a professional designation offered by the
CFA Institute. The CFA Institute is an organization that measures and certifies the
competence and integrity of financial analysts.
Complete a valid bachelor's degree
Hold a valid bachelor's degree from any accredited university or institution.
Currently an Undergraduate
Level I: The exam window must fall within 23 months of the candidate's graduation month.
Level II: The exam window must fall within 11 months of the candidate's graduation date.
Level III: The candidate's degree must be completed by the month before the exam date.
Have 4000 hours of work experience
Accumulate 4000 hours of relevant professional work experience in the finance industry.

Eligibility
To become a CFA charterholder, your professional work experience must meet the
following criteria.
Investment
Decision Making
Evaluating financial, economic, or statistical data in investment processes directly.
Supervisory Roles
Managing or overseeing individuals who perform qualifying investment-related work.
Teaching & Research
Teaching topics directly related to investment and finance activities.
Minimum
Work Hours
At least 4,000 hours of investment-related work experience completed over 3 years.
